Jobs I'd Never Want: Pilot

This is a little ironic, I grew up on an Air Force base for a fair chunk of my childhood. I used to want to be a pilot, I even spent time in simulators on the Air Force base, and loved it.
I even remember being very young (about 4 or 5) and wishing on a star that I could fly, maybe lots of kids do that, but I wanted it more than anything at the time.
In retrospect, I think the reason I longed to fly so bad was because I have trouble with basic walking. Maybe subconsciously I felt like if I could fly, I'd be less reliant on my crippled legs.
Anyway, these days I have zero interest in being a pilot, because I have read multiple accounts of plane crashes (and perhaps seen Final Destination a few too many times, lol.)
Plus I'd simply rather not be 30,000 feet up if I'm in an accident.

I don't think I'd want to be a pilot either....just seems like a stressful job....plus your reasons!

Don't you dare watch Final Destination ever again!
For me, the jobs I'd never dreamed of having are those related to the medical field. I don't want to be a doctor, a nurse, a medical technologist, etc. And fortunately my parents didn't dream that for me either. But they did for two other sisters. So one is a doctor and the other is a nurse.

I could never be a doctor or dentist. But I'm sure glad somebody did. Do you ever fly now? I'm okay with it, but my husband loves it.

I hate to fly in large planes. I feel safer in small planes.

I am afraid of heights, but more I'm afraid of plummeting 30,000 feet & perishing in a fiery heap of debris.
I figure better safe than sorry.

@jnrdutton true. Also being a pilot, you have to be 100 percent healthy.
