Centennial is a mini series that takes a wander through the early history of North America and the way the land was settled and how people lived. If you were to watch it in one sitting you would be looking at about 26 hours. My husband watches it often, and thankfully he breaks it up into smaller chunks. I do not believe that I have ever seen it all. It seems like the things that need to be done interrupts. I can only justify about an hour at a time and then I realize there is always work to do. Some sections I have seen over and over and some I will probably never see. Such is life!

Never heard of this centennial mini series. 26 hours in one sitting is really tough for me.

That sounds fascinating to me. I know it would be tiring to watch 26 hours in one siting. I really like seeing historical programs. These days America is a modern country.

It sounds pretty interesting. Wasn't that based on a James Michener book?
