Special Delivery Just in Time

Received a very special delivery today from across the pond. @Gillygirl sent me the most beautiful card from the Lavender fields in Banstead, Surrey.
I have the card right beside my computer and I smile when I see it. I tried showing you the front of the card and the inside in the photo above.
This could not have come at a better time. Have had a very somber day. Thank you my sweet friend for being the highlight of my day. You brought a much needed smile.
Funny how things sometimes happen at the perfect time. This is one of those times. Friends are the best. Thank you g/f for this beautiful card.

what a wonderful surprise! i got one the other day from a mylot friend who resides'n singapore. sure made my day, too :) 's ya say, perfect timin'. took a full month to reach me 'n warmed my heart when most needed.

@CarolDM yes ma'am, 'tis truly so. i pull out my 'collection' 'f postcards from time to time, ones sent from folks here. somethin' special 'bout a handwritten note, knowin' someone picked a card with ya'n mind. kinda like a real book versus one'f those reader thingies.
