One of the things I collect (but I also wear them) are baseball style caps. Whenever we got on a family trip, I buy a hat.
This picture is of my current storage system.
Sadly I have two more of these on the other side of the room.

@DocAndersen I still collect books and both my husband and I have many books we collected since we were not yet married. I should start to donate some of my shoes because I have too many and I have not enough space where to store them.

@LadyDuck when my father passed away we cleaned out his office. There were more than 4000 books to be donated.

@DocAndersen Beswicks/Royal Doulton. I have others as well but the Beswicks are the most valuable.

OMG! My dad collected these caps. He had an entire room covered in them, then added more around the laundry room, he had 100 or more. I kept a few, sister kept a few, and gave the rest to my brother.
My dad would take finishing nails and he made rows, like a pretty display, and everyday he would go in and pick a cap to wear.
Me? I have a few of the blue willow pattern dishes, crystal and silver. But not much.

@DocAndersen NO! its not amazing! they are dust collectors. Do your hats a favor, keep them inside a plastic bag and in a drawer, no dust and no fading due to the light.

I used to collect a lot of things -- owls and other animals...ceramic, porcelain, etc. I even have some stuffed animals like Smokey the Bear that I picked up at one of the national parks. BTW, I think you meant "one of the things I collect". :-D

That's a great thing to collect! My grandpa used to collect them as well, but not sure he does these days. I already posted about what I collect!
