Short Story: Seeing more, by loving more

The best view is not always from the highest point. Our heart is lower down than our mind is.

John Touvenon was a dreamy sort of a guy, who hardly knew if he was dreaming, or living his life. Most days, he was in a daze. One day, he went on a bus trip to Tornfree, where there was a tall lighthouse, constructed on a cliff, from which you could see all of the Houndstooth Bay, and the surrounding areas from. John walked up the spiral steps of the lighthouse, until he reached the top. At that great physical height, John could see all over the countryside, as well as, far out to sea. John looked at a table, that had been placed there, which had a visitor's book on it. Someone had written in the visitor's book "You can see a lot physically from a great height, but the only way to see more spiritually is to love more." Reaching up is not the same as being up in spiritual ways, because the only way to gain a higher level of wisdom, based around also awareness and higher consciousness, is to see that the energy behind all is love. The more you lose yourself in God, the more love you will have, and experience, now, found in yourself. For example, our heart is lower down than our mind is. We can see more from our heart than from our mind.

@Nakitakona No. I think that we all have two sides to us all. The Godly side, and the ungodly side, or the loving side, and the non-loving side. I strive to move closer to my Godly/loving side, and, when I write, I try to write from this loving side of me, but no, I am not always loving, or always in love, perhaps only God is.

@Starkinds And thanks for your appreciation too It is said that we all have an inbuilt need to hear, and to be told, or to read stories, but every writer needs a reader, so thanks again, my friend.

Love does not cost us anything but we are miserly with it. We do not have to search far and wide for it as it emanates from our hearts. If we stood by love, our world will be pristine and heavenly - siva

Yes, thanks siva. We do not value the pricelessness of love, and so are miserly with it. True, if we could all more fully love, what a loving world this would be. Heaven on Earth.

@innertalks Yes Steve, I am reminded of the proverb - "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink". We are provided with everything including the power to love to our heart's content but we look the other way and thereby wallow in misery - siva
