God Dreams or Not

I am watching a youtube video about how God sends messages in dreams and visions. If you remember the dream, google the words and images in the dream to understand the meaning. Do you think that God speaks to you in dreams or visions? Why or why not. Can you give an example from your life or the life of someone you know?

Yes, God DOES speak to born again believers, through dreams and visions. I had a dream about a young man that I graduated from high school with. Frank was someone I never dated or associated with very often. I wondered, 'Why did I dream about him, after about forty years?' The next morning, I stopped to have coffee at Mom's house. Her best friend Marge knocked on the door, she stopped by for a quick cup of coffee, also. Marge asked, 'Kharla, didn't you graduate with Frank P.?' It was hard to reply, it shocked me! She continued, 'He passed away this week.' This was the young man I dreamed about, the night before

@kobesbuddy I'm sorry, I guess I read that wrong. Please accept my apology. For some reason, you have this knowledge. I think you should explore other gifts that you might have. It is awesome.

@crazyhorseladycx I hear you. I lived in the southwest part and sometimes you can go for miles without seeing another human being. I lived in places that no one else ever visited.

So you don't remember your dreams? Some people just don't. I had some vivid dreams when I was in New Mexico. That place has a lot of something-spirituality or something else that you can't see.

Never really think about it, maybe you are right and dreams can be God trying to tell us something.

@nela13 Some people can't seem to remember any of their dreams. I remember some dreams vividly and others escape as soon as I open my eyes.

I don't really know if God can speak to us through dreams. I have never experienced it myself. I always believe that God speaks to us through answering our prayers.

I do believe that God sends messages to us in our dreams. When I was a teenager I had a dream about my Aunt Cindy. She was hurt. When I woke up the next morning I told my mom about the dream. She called and found out that my Aunt had been hurt.

I don't now if God speaks to me in my dreams, but I have had a few dreams where loved ones who have passed away spend time with me in my dreams. My Dad will talk to me and tall me stuff, fatherly advise that you never grow too old to hear. And there is a special warmth after waking from a dream such as this for me. I love those dreams.

@akalinus Strangely enough I read a bit about dreams online this morning. Apparently when we dream about those that have passed, we could be nearing the end of our own life. After I read that, I closed that link and went onto something else.

I often dream about people who passed. In some dreams, I am the only one who is still alive. The others are just doing ordinary things as if they were living. I usually get upset because I wake up and realize that they are not really here.

According Sigmund Freud dreams are the manifestations of people desires and anxieties, often relating to repressed childhood memories or obsessions. According to the modern culture dreams are an expressions of the dreamer's deepest fears and desires. In fact when I am stressed I have more weird dreams.

@akalinus I had so many "premonitory dreams", I saved the life of my mother thanks to a dream, but I do not believe that God send us messages through the dreams. Also those who are of religions without God dream and some of them have also premonitory dreams.

@akalinus I had a dream where my father told me to bring her to see the doctor because she had stomach cancer. My mother was perfectly healthy, at least she looked healthy. I had a hard time convincing her to go to check her stomach. She did just in time before the cancer spread to vital organ. She had surgery 1 week later and they had to remove her stomach, but she was saved.

I think a lot of people remember some of their dreams and some don't remember anything. The next time that you remember a dream, look up some of the elements. I search things like the meaning of a cat in a dream. I get interesting search results.

I think that is true, if you want to know something, wholeheartedly ask for guidance or an answer before going to bed and you can get good results if you practice
