I'm impressed (sort of) with Amazon

I recently bought a small blender on Amazon. I looked at tons of them on line, in Walmart, and different places and finally found one that was small enough to not take up a lot of counter space, but has an 800 watt motor.
It came with two large plastic cups, a lid with a flip top, a regular lid, and a smaller cup with a handle. I liked the small cup to keep in the fridge when I make a smoothie and don't drink it all right then.
Everything worked fine, except the small cup won't screw on tight and leaks. So I contacted the company on Amazon and requested a replacement.
For some reason they couldn't send one, so they asked me if I would accept a partial refund instead. Yes, of course!
Sure enough, a refund of around $6 showed up in my bank statement. Wow. Usually it's been more time and trouble to return something than it's worth, but this was great.
I'm easily impressed.

Thank You, you remind me i need to check to see if amazon refunded my money on a book.
As for your blender mishap, I am glad that they have refunded you. You might check ebay and see if they have a replacement part.

Amazon is good; and Walmart is even better with unhappy customers. I've been very impressed with both. You can tell which are 3rd party sellers by the way they are listed. It will say sold by Amazon if it's direct from them.

I'm learning that. Walmart has always been good about returns, except when it's a third party seller. I couldn't get a refund on my Instantpot even though the odor and steam got into our ac lines.

@1creekgirl I'm surprised about that because Walmart gave me a complete refund for a product that was not received from a third party seller. Did you contact the actual seller? You can do that.

@1creekgirl I'm sorry to hear that. Did you try writing to Instapot directly and tell them about a problem with your unit?

Mine's a Cosori and so far I love it. I can make a small smoothie so fast and easy. It's a better way for me to get some fruit in my diet.

I would have been happy with another cup, but a refund was nice.
