In addition to the other pastimes and hobbies that I have mentioned, I have always enjoyed crafts. I am no longer able to do any needlework due to arthritis in my hands; but I always enjoyed needlepoint, petitpoint and embroidery. I've also done some plastic canvas projects, made some jewelry, etc.
I have completed quite a few projects, most of which I gave away as gifts. For example, I hooked a round rug for a Christmas tree. It was white with poinsettias on it; and it fit around the tree trunk. I made a set of cute Peanuts embroidery pictures for a new baby's room; and I made a set of personalized needlepoint Christmas stockings, to name a few.

Those sound wonderful! I have dabbled at embroidery, but my favorite craft is painting and decorating boxes. I haven't done a lot because it is time-consuming, but I'd love to get into it more. I just recently discovered a ame on Facebook called Cross Stitch Masters, and I love it! It gives the satisfaction of completing a project but with no outlay for supplies and much less time. You might find it fun :)

I have no artistic ability; so I got rid of all my painting supplies! Thanks for the lead on Cross Stitch Masters!

I do latch hooks sometimes. I also make things with the plastic canvas.

My mother taught me to embroidery when I was about 10. I used to crochet. I also cross stitched and sold many of those. I used to do crafts when I had children in the house.
Now I just write and paint sometimes.

Sounds like some fun crafts to do! I do enjoy crafts....and I have made jewelry -- like the one I shared earlier
