How much will you pay for a bottle of perfume?

Hello and happy Sunday all! It is 106am, and I am almost done with work for the evening and ready to hit the sheets for a good 8 hours. So excited! Tomorrow will be a busy day and then back to work for my 66 hour work week...But, I have to push that out of my mind for now.
I get a lot of makeup samples, including the occasional perfume sample, from some of the beauty subscription boxes I get in the mail each month. I usually use them up, one at a time, but I haven't really found any that have really stood out to me or that I really loved.
Until I just tried this "Replica Jazz Club" by MAISON MARGIELA. I thought maybe once I use up my current half-full bottle of Versace (that was given to me as a gift, although I don't LOVE the scent), and use up some of these small samples, I would *treat* myself by buying a full-size of this Replica Jazz Club (it smells - smoky and woodsy - I can't really describe it well) - until I looked online at Sephora's website to find that for
3.4 ounces it is $128.00
I am just not feeling comfortable spending that much money on something like this, even though if it's anything like the perfume I have - you spritz a little bit on and it lasts all day - a bottle lasts like a year. But still, to spend that much at once on something that seems so trivial, just not sure I could do it.
Do you all wear perfume? What is the *max* price that you will pay for perfume?
Do you have a favorite brand or kind? Or a collection of kinds? Do share!

I wear Carolina Herrera and it is not inexpensive. I think when you find a scent you love, it is worth it

This reminds me of the upcoming birthday of my wife. How about a perfume?

Except in the summer when bugs bite I wear perfume daily. Just cheap stuff I bought years ago or was given as a gift. I would never be comfortable paying $128 for a perfume. Enjoy that sample!!

The most expensive perfume I had bought in years gone by was Coco by Chanel. And before that many many years ago was Shalimar and Yves St Laurent.

I only buy the cheap perfumes now. Just the practical side of me.
