Planning where to go

In the last few years I wished to visit more countries so I looked at a map of Europe to see which ones I could visit cheaply. I looked into flying into Barcelona in Spain and then traveling overland all the way to Rome where we could fly home from. The one way flight prices were too expensive so I got a flight to Bordeaux and then a flight home from Pisa. On our way we were able to see the very small countries of Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City. Where would you like to go? How do you think you could plan this?

There are so many places that I would love to visit. Unfortunately at the moment things are tight and things aren't quite cheap.

I know that flights from Canada are expensive. I was there in 2010 for a trip and was surprised the child age for a train was 2 years old. Maybe if you took a train or a bus to Boston or New York and fly from there.

@maximax8 It can be expensive. I might look into trips to Boston or New York or Maine or something. Something that I'll have to look into.

I would like to go to England, Ireland, Wales or Scotland. Always been partial to those countries. Nothing exotic for me. There are always very cheap flights from here to get there and back. Trouble for me is I would not want to come back I must stay put for now Maxi I got some intense responsibilities here. I do have family in Ireland tho anyway. Good luck getting to where you want to go.

I did think of moving to Australia when I was 21 years old. I think I did much better by staying in England. When I was a single person I only had me to pay for. Now I have my two children I have to think carefully about how to travel more cheaply. It is lovely you have family in Ireland Oshy. I need to decide where to visit in 2020. By then my daughter will be in secondary school and so we could have a two week trip in October.

@maximax8 I just reread my response and that dang spell check haha should have read responsibilities not reprehensibility or something. Yes let us know where you choose to go Maxi. I love to hear of your travels! Oh yes children change the scene that is for sure. That happened to me too haha

Your plan is very nice. I haven't had a travel plan yet. I also need to check where offers the less expensive plane tickets

I’m so glad you went. I’ve been traveling around the world and back again. The only place I want to see next is Antarctica. Otherwise, I’m afraid to travel the way our world is now.
