my lab test showed a decrease, and surprisingly my weight, too, so both me and the doctor were pleased.
then we talked about what to eat more and less of: less meat, more veggies. choose beef over pork (which i already do because of the current african swine flu here), and for variety, eat saba (platain), sweet potato, taro and corn.
what made you change what you eat?

Beef over pork? Is beef better than pork(in case there is no swine flu)?
We also eat more chicken and fish right now because of the ASF... Hihihihi Even if they say it is safe to eat it, well, what if the virus will stay in your body and then mutate? LOL

i think because of the cholesterol. i feel sorry for the hog raisers and sellers losing money, but i'd rather be safe.

@hereandthere that's true... better safe than sorry... Hmmm I can live without pork... I will just eat again when our country is clear of the ASF.

I was trying to lose weight so I changed some of my eating habits. The swine flu sounds really bad. I'm sure I heard that China had lost so many pigs that the world pig population is down 50%. Pork is cheap here but I wonder how long it will remain so.

Very nice result then, continue that and you will have a healthier body. As of now, I can eat anything and everything, as long as I want it. I'm 45 years old and I am active in running.

@hereandthere A lot of everything. But it’s the same everyday and I feel like I am having taste fatigue. They usually serve hash browns, sausages, bacons, beans, scrambled egg, mushrooms, fruits.
