We ordered an antenna this past Friday. It wasn't cheap but it is a really good deal. I paid for it with Paypal but didn't realize that my old address was still on my account. I am not sure why because I have ordered other things that have made it to the house we are living in now. Anyway, I have been trying to get hold of someone, anyone who can change my address on the package. It is being shipped by USPS. I have sent emails and called everyone I can think of. I have heard from one representative for the postal service that says they will get back to me. I just want to get this resolved and sent to the correct address. I am afraid that the people in our old house might not be as honest as I hope and will keep the antenna. I don't know what else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

@rebelann They were. If I hadn't gotten hold of the person shipping it they would have stopped the package and changed the address. They are terrific.

I ;managed to finally get in touch after three days with the shipper. I had contacted the post office and paypal and had everything set with the changing of the address. I don't know why they used the old address. I have had several packages using paypal since we moved and all of them came to my present address.

I just had this happen for a pair of shoes I ordered. By the time I had realized that my old address was still on the account, my shoes had already shipped. I frantically tried calling the company and the shipping company. Finally, I was able to get a hold of someone at the company, who was able to call the shipping company, who was able to change the delivery address in time to get the shoes to the right place. The only suggestion I can give you is to keep calling. How far are you from your old address? I actually had to drive to my old address for another package I had delivered to the wrong address. Fortunately, the package was sitting on the front porch of the old house I lived in.

It took three days to reach someone at the company that I purchased from. I am about 45 minutes away. I did keep calling and finally reached someone. They have changed the address and it should get here in a few days. So, I am not the only one this has happened to.

At this point it seems to be all straightened out. The shipper, USPS, and paypal are all aware.

Did you call the local post office the head postmaster. Mine is so very helfpul with issue such as this. If not you may want to go to your old address but you might have some issue with that to ask the people to hold your package just so they know if it comes that you are aware. And last but not least hopefully you had changed your address on Paypal.

I did everything but talk to the people who are living in our old house. Fortunately I was able, finally, to get hold of the shipped to get the address changed on the package.

PayPal usually do not disclose our address, you have to state your address when you order the item.

@HazySue This is the problem with too automated things, we lose the control of what other people know about us.

Unfortunately, it was set up so that all I had to do was press a button and the information filled out. I never saw the address it was being shipped to until I received an email from the people who were sending out the package.

Hope with the steps you've taken your package will arrive at your current address. The only other option I would suggest is to agree with @sharon6345

The postal service has your correct address, and since you called them, they should get it to you without a problem. That's the logical common sense theory. I hope you get it.

I am sure they would have shipped it to me from the wrong address. I was afraid the mail person would leave the package at the old address and I would never receive it.
