Hit Close to Home

I’m not going to go into details about this one, but I will say it hit close to home as it is about a woman who left the Mormon Church while in College. I could relate to much of what she was saying having grown up in the Church leaving the Church my Senior Year of High School was a big decision but a necessary one. I saw and experienced some of the behind the scenes stuff that isn’t really talked about including the mistreatment of women and children and how it’s far to often over looked, or blamed on the victims. Anyway this book doesn’t really go into that but talks about her conversion, as well as the way she was often made to feel inferior! Granted not all Mormons are this way, but there are far to many who are!

Sorry to hear this. Thanks for pointing out that not all mormons have that kind of attitude.
