I've been eating chicken very often for this past few weeks. In the news everyday are about the African Swine Fever and that many pigs are dying from getting infected. I don't know how long this problem will last but for now no pork for the meantime.

We have been hearing about this. Apparently it is a very big problem in China with many of the pigs there infected.

Some countries are affected. How about there in Australia?

@averygirl72 We have very strict quarantine laws so at the moment our pork is not affected.

In a way it is healthy. For the meantime no pork but only fish and chicken meat

It is all right to buy pork if you trust the vendor. Supermarkets sell certified pork.

You are right. In supermarkets and some public markets pigs undergo meat inspection before selling them

We also don't buy pork as of the moment because of that ASF.
We eat fish and chicken often... And lots of veggies...
