Today, Cotton was able to escape from the house. I was very late to capture him when he ran fast towards the door all the way to his freedom. I followed him but he’s already outside on the gate and then hides to the neighbor’s vicinity. I ask my neighbor if I could enter to get the cat but he’s hiding under the wide pile of woods which I can’t even peek. There is no point of calling and waiting there for long as he is not obedient of my call this time so I just left hoping that he will return home according to his will
.
Thanks for reading and listening my sentiment. I hope you all have a great day.

CAts are naturally adventurous animals and they do not want to be kept indoors so they wander around places. I think it will return when it feels safe in your place again. Our cats are never left indoors and they can freely go around and wander everywhere.

Maybe he is "in heat?" Soon he will also return to your home.

Yes, before I adopted him but it's a different surrounding. He has one enemy cat that will appear anytime and that would be a brawl if they encounter here but now I am wishing that this cat would appear so that he come out and I have this chance to drove him back at home.

With the issue of going out, cats are difficult to discipline.

It's a bit difficult now that he's growing up. I think that those meows were his way of begging me to really go outside. I thought, he's just hungry but he was already taken his his food according to my niece. I never noticed that he positioned himself and just waited the opportunity.
