I knew I had artistic abilities in me. However, due to the fact that my dad was considered "the artist" of the family...I just never pursued it. I wrote, and enjoyed doing it...and still do. I write for a few contests every now and then. At the same time... I knew had this artist inside of me. It was much different than my dad's. He was more into oils, and I liked abstract, and digital. So... After years of procrastination... I decided to take the plunge. I have found that the more I work at it, the better I am getting. I guess that goes to say it is this way with anything that we set out to do. Practice makes perfect, as they say... I joined a well know art website where we can sell our work, and enter contests to help with exposure. Needless to say that I am getting quite a bit of positive feedback. So...I guess it is time that I start sharing my talents. If you like abstract and digital art, you might take a liking to what I create. If not...and you prefer the traditional style...that is okay too... All art does not appeal to everyone. So... In my next posts, I think I am going to start sharing some of my work. Let me know your thoughts. I like to know your interests.
