This morning my daughter ate 3/4 of a waffle and said she was full. I get tired of her wasting food and eating less and less food so I made her sit there until she ate the two waffles I made her. Lunch same issue with different foods. At least by dinner I didn’t have to push her to eat. My sons friend came over at noon. They played outside with nerf guns a good portion of the time then came in and played video games. They walked up to the school and played basketball then at 4 I took him home. I finished watching all of the series “You” and loved it. My daughter has been trying to get me to watch “Heathers” for weeks so I finally did today. I signed up for Amazon prime and bought my boyfriend two presents for his birthday. I get my stitches out of my toe tomorrow night and I am nervous. Wish me luck please!

I bring my nephew 2 Lara Bars when I pick him up from school that way he has an option. I usually bring a chocolate and non-chocolate option. Sometimes he'll eat both if he's hungry but I get really upset when he goes I finished 1 bar and I'm still hungry, I'm going to eat the 2nd bar. Then, he proceeds to take just 1 bite and goes *I'm full*. When that happens the next time he does that, he won't get options and next time he'll have to finish the bar he didn't finish first before getting a new one. Is your daughter full or just not in the mood to eat. Maybe prepare less and if she wants more prepare more, but depends because it could be convenient to prepare at the same time? Good luck on getting your stitches out! I am sure all will go well. :)

@infatuatedbby my son who is 11 would eat the two waffles and then have a bowl of fruit. My daughter doesn’t eat enough.

@infatuatedbby that drives me nuts too. It's a waste. At least maybe he can take the snack and finish it later so it doesn't just get thrown out. I think it's just in her head. I noticed over the last year her cutting back more and more on food. She lost like 20 pounds. 3/4 of a waffle for breakfast is less then my 3 year old niece would eat. That is not enough nourishment for a 15 year old. My mom would question and give me dirty looks if I wouldn't eat saying I was full from school but that was it. I refuse to allow my daughter to do that. Anorexia is a big issue with teens.

@shaggin It does drive me nuts, but yes we save the bars in a zip lock and he'll eat the bar later or whenever it's snack time. Oh yes just 3/4 of a waffle is not enough. My niece who's also 3 eats a lot! Her brother too. And usually not just waffles with a small side of fruits or something too. So 3/4 of a waffle is definitely not enough.

Why your daughter does not want to eat? Is she trying to lose weight? Good luck for tomorrow.

@LadyDuck she says she is full and if she eats more she feels ill all day. Regardless she needs to eat. She cut back more and more over the past year. She lost 20 pounds. I refuse to let her keep shrinking her meals so much it's not good for her. She should at least be able to finish a waffle or two!

@shaggin You are right, she needs to eat and losing too much weight at her age is not good.

@amnabas it's been 17 days so I'm hoping once he takes the stitches out and all the padding off it won't be to sore to walk on. Cutting a bone out though I suspect it's going to be painful to walk on for some time.

I'm glad you made her eat, but wonder what made her not .. has this been happening alot lately? Maybe a depression thing?

@Courtlynn that's possible because when she was on the Lexapro her appetite did improve but a lot of those pills cause weight gain etc so being extra hungry is probably a side effect. It started happening about a year ago I noticed she was eating less. This is the final straw to me. 3/4 of a waffle for a meal is not enough. I'll sit and make sure she eats every meal from now on and force her to eat a decent amount.
