't least 'tis a jumpin' off place, no? not's late's with the aunt here 's she'd spew 'til 'bout 2am. not conducive to feedin' ponies by no later'n 7am. my bags 've bags. 'nless insomnia comes to visit (which 'tis quite oft), i try to hit the hay 'bout 11pm 't the latest. i 'njoyed the rain, 'til such kept comin'. been non-stop, the place's flooded - 'ndoors 'n out. 've dried out the floorin' 'pstairs, put more towels down 'n hopin' the dryer can keep'p. sucked half a canister 'f water out'ta my recliner.... the horses're plum miserable'n there'd be nothin' i can do fer 'em. the bonus bein', there'd be no gripin' 'n complainin' 'f't all. the hubs's havin' a brilliant time 'n now plans to not come home 'til friday. seems they'd jest a mountain shower where he's't. i wonder if'n he bothered to call work'n let 'em know coz he 'twas to come home today...

@crazyhorseladycx I hope he called work. Not a good thing to be fired for not calling or showing up. Sounds like you need to patch the roof or put a new one on to keep the rain out. I'm sorry you're getting so much all at once. Yes, I was very happy to find the site. I have it bookmarked so I can get back to it.

Considering the book is centered in the Middle Ages, I thought it was a picture that represented the time. I thought I would need to buy a book for my research but finally landed on a site that has all the information I need to help me with that time period. I'm sure there are others, but this one is a good start. You were up late. It's nice what a little freedom gives you. Enjoy the rain.
