It's Started

I've started the publishing process and I can answer questions people asked about it.
In the past year, KDP Direct merged with CreateSpace under the KDP Direct banner. One of the questions asked was would I need to reformat my manuscript. Yes. Though the trim size is the same, they have different inside margins, so that needed changing. Another question was how much the ISBN would cost. $125. I won't be purchasing the copyright but using the free one issued by KDP Direct.
I also had fun uploading the cover image. I needed to change it to a PDF format. I went online to find a JPG/PDF converter. Once found, it was easy.
My manuscript is also in PDF. Everything is ready. I just need to do the final proofreading before I hit publish. I expect it to be an easy readthrough with minimal changes/corrections.
That has been my morning since I left you. It also started raining before 8 a.m. I could have sworn the weatherman said it would start at 7 p.m. So, I won't be going out for a walk, not in the rain.
How is your Tuesday going? Did you have a great start to October? How is your weather? Thanks for reading. Image is mine for Thread of Evidence.

I can imagine you need a kayak just to get to the pasture with the horses.
I have Writer's Guild later. My friend called to tell me she'll pick me up. I asked what she's coming in, boat or car. She's got the Ark.
It's still protected. I hoped to have the Library of Congress one as it allows so much more benefits. Oh well, it is what it is.

This means your latest books don't need to have a copyright protection, do they? That's to avoid the cost of it.
