I got a Lyft to the Health Center (where I see my health care provider) and got there a bit early--though thankfully not as early as I got to my appointment last time. My provider was with another patient, so once I got to the waiting room I waited another hour. While I was waiting, my provider sent in a counselor/therapist/psychiatrist (not sure what her title was) to talk to me about something I'd spoken to my provider about. After that my provider popped her head in again and wanted to talk to the counselor/therapist/psychiatrist outside the room, then when they came back in they said they had set me up with a new counselor/therapist/psychiatrist, as the one I had been seeing finished her..."fellowship" or whatever training she was doing. They said that the one I'll be seeing is not a "fellow", so unlike the last two or three counselors/therapists/psychiatrists I've had at the health center, she won't "disappear." So once I was done with my appointment (my provider talked about talking to my brother and maybe the concierge person again about my financial situation, etc. and how she might help). I need to call the concierge person again, as when I got home (I took the bus and walked the last block) there was a message from her -- returning the call I gave her----so I'll try to call her again before I leave for Bible Study. Somewhere in there I took a shower and fed Angel. I hope that you are all having a great afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
