I just found this on Pexels when I went to their licencing page concerning using their photos. This is what they said;
What is allowed?
We tried to keep the Pexels License as simple as possible. Keep reading to find out more.
*All photos on Pexels are free to use.
*Attribution is not required.
*Giving credit to the photographer or Pexels is not necessary, but always appreciated.
*You can modify the photos. Be creative and edit the photos as you like.
BINGO!!! This is all I needed to see!
*I love the last one. It says that we can be creative and edit the photos as we like.
This is where I get most of my photos anyway. Though there are a few more websites that I use. Yay!

They are good too. I use them as well.
Sadly... Some folks just try to stir up trouble. Now I got proof; and I can tell these nobodies that they can take a long walk off a short pier! LOL

Pay attention to the spelling. It is Pexels, not Pixels. I know it is easy to get confused.
