I need a bowl

I’m sitting at the kitchen table my 4.5 year old comes in mind if mummbling. He just seems really tired and I ask him what is wrong. “Mommy I need a blow I’m going throw up!” Oh no! I couldn’t move quick enough a soon as I got up. Milk vomit starts coming up out of his mouth on to his play rug. Some on his feet. I pull out all the mixing bowls trying to get to big one so I can catch whatever is left coming out or him. Most ended up on the rug and small amount I had to disinfect from the floor. So glad I have hard wood floors in this area of the house. I tell him to stand still. I get some paper towels to toss, Gets some gloves because we have plastic gloves in my house if there is none in the kitchen there is always some up stairs. (Husband comes home with them from work). I clean up what I can and places my little guy back into the living room. Clean out the bowl he just vomited into. Started to roll the rug up because it’s a light play rug it’s designed to get mess up and washed. I wake up my husband I told him I need home to just watch our son for a few minutes as I finish cleaning up just Incase he starts throwing up again. My husband asked me question like I’m doctor. I do know he probably had the stomach flu if not a virus and I hope the rest of us doesn’t get it. All my week is missing is blood and trip to the ER. Poop and vomit is off the list for the week.
