Isn't it funny how people notice things in the background of your photos that weren't the intended subject? So, those are your bed sheets in the water? They look like little plaid sharks. I too have learned a lot on myLot. It's cool to interact with folks from different parts of the world and not just in NC.

I have made some wonderful friends here, some I knew from bubblews and found them. Talked to one on the phone and enjoyed that, we are soul sisters. I have met people I have a lot n common with and we share recipes for many thing. One of the best social sites in my opinion. But JJ @myklj999 did not wait and let me paint his door black!

Recipes, weather things in India and northern Europe and how fun it is to be alive. Me too made many pals at mylot and enjoy immensely mylotting! After my Mother passed, being at mylot has been a life saver.

@TheHorse Very much so. It was just Mom and I, so when she passed there is a big void. I watch my tv and come to the library for mylotting to fill my days. Mylotting has given me lots of pals, like you, to share my life with now. Mom left me in 2017.

I want to celebrate every culture that has a "Festival of Lights" (Jewish, Indian, etc.). It gives me an excuse to make little rafts and float them in the pool with a candle on top.

Well, I *like* sports and I'm even a woman. So there! I have learned things here too. To name a few that there are members that love SEC football. Love to harass @JeffMoffit who roots for the Florida Gators. Some get upset when you talk bad about their team. Some take it in stride. I love reading posts from those that are experimenting with homesteading and living off the land like @AndriaPerry. I find these things interesting and most conform to a way of life in the past years that is now forgotten by most. I have met a few fellow music lovers, including YOU!! And some that love to travel (@John Roberts) and post some excellent reviews on such. Great post!!

@TheHorse As long as it is all done in fun and not harmful or hurtful, it is good. I gave up on the NFL as of last year with all the kneeling. I haven't watched an NFL game since the season before last. I have also found that I don't miss it at all.

@kareng The kneeling is silly. I was a college athlete but toil in the ghetto helping poor kids, where I make very little money. These guys make millions and many of them never went to class in college. Are they kneeling for me?

One of my MyLot friends (you may know her) is a die-hard Packers fan. And I'm a 49ers fan. So we're supposed to be rivals. But at this point I think we're both rooting for both teams to do well so we can "give each other a hard time" at the end of the season.

You need help. Just say you wanna shag, I heard ladies do not like Romantic services. I make bad jokes.

There is something to the way you put things with women. Most I ever get is I just could tell I liked you. I do not think anything I ever said helped me get a lady. I have no game, but do we need it? Be you and they will pick up on that. Why I like being a loner but some how make sure everyone knows who I am. I am not sure how I got that skill but did. Every now and then a lady asks for my romantic services.

You are. Honestly Jennifer, I consider me to be very logical most of the time. I do have my share of superstitions ...but those are kinda tried and tested and confirmed varieties. But mostly, when it comes to god, I swing. Sometimes I believe in him profoundly, at other times, I am oh come on...if there was one, would this happen. But you have such unshakable faith, and funny thing is, god really helps you...when I feel he will not.

I have met wonderful people here, I have learnt about a Japanese cheesecake (that I made and it's delicious). I have learnt about habits in other countries, superstitions and that American think that all Italians eat and love pizza.

I assume you mean what we (in the US) call soccer. I admit that I kind of like sports, though my overall interest (especially in football American) is waning with age. Did a pitcher actually throw a no-hitter in the baseball playoffs yesterday? I think so, but I'll have to check again.
