Tomato Trauma Averted!

As a 'pescevegan' - I eat wild caught fish occasionally but don't eat meat or dairy - my three main staples are tomatoes, onions and beans but, as the majority of our tomatoes come from the Netherlands I was wondering what would happen if we crashed out of the EU on 31 October. However, it seems I was worrying unnecessarily.
Apparently two giant greenhouses costing £120m are being built next to sewage works in my home county of Norfolk and the adjoining county of Suffolk. which will grow millions of tomatoes and bring 360 permanent agricultural jobs to the area. The greenhouses will cover 72 acres and will provide a huge amount of the tomatoes grown in the UK.
Heat to provide the right growing conditions is being pumped into the greenhouses from the adjoining sewage works. This will mean that the tomato 'farms' will cut the usual tomato growing carbon footprint by 75%.
Britain apparently consumes 500,000 tonnes of tomatoes a year but only 20% are home-grown so this will be a big boost.
East Anglia, which includes Lincolnshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex is the largest vegetable growing area in the UK already so it's great to be able to add another string to our bow.
The project should be completed by autumn next year and, apart from creating 360 permanent jobs, it'll also provide 120 season jobs too.

Tomato farmers here are always complaining when there is a typhoon.

Thankfully we don't often get them here! We do get gale force winds but very rarely.

What great news! You don't need to worry about the tomato issue anymore.
