Well, We Tried

Our plan was to visit a different church today. It is out in the country. We have driven past it before, but we forgot how.
Bob missed his turn, completely. Maybe we will go next week.
We ALSO tried a new restaurant in Marion. It has opened up in the old Pizza Hut building.
Our response is a very luke warm "meh". Prices are high for what you get, choices are slim to none. Orders are not gotten correct. Hot things are not hot. But the chicken gravy was good.
Next week will be different, I am sure.

I also lose my way when I am not familiar with the place. But I don't get annoyed for I am used to losing my way.

@GardenGerty We've recently started going to a really small church out in the country about 15 miles from us. It's really been a blessing to us.

I don't like when a restaurant, doesn't live up to expectations, I really don't go out for food all that much because of this.

@GardenGerty The one I go to is large in building from the 1800's but smaller in congregation. It's in a tiny town less than 800 people and that includes all of us in rural areas.

Hubby had been all anxious to try it out, as our area is seriously lacking in good restaurants. I figured we would just get it over with.

I hope next week will be better.
We tried a new place Saturday and it was so bad we took the food back and asked for our money.

I do not think I would do that, I did feel sorry for the people because they are trying so hard to make it work.

@GardenGerty It was almost $20 for the food and it was chicken, not beef, Tony couldnt eat it at all. they needed to know they were not getting the order right.
