My Cats are Adjusting

Funny how different my two cats' personalities are. When we start to feel a little chill in the air, Brendel will curl up in one of her little beds with a blanket. The Dude gets under blankets.
He was sneezing last night and this morning. I hope he doesn't get sick. Just an adjustment I am sure.
It was 53 this morning. Another happy dance! Love this chilly weather. We will get up to 70 and 80 this week but the mornings are very nice.
Sharing a photo of Brendel and the Dude snuggling on the sofa pillows. They only do this when the weather is chilly. Funny how they suddenly become best buddies. The rest of the year they spend chasing and avoiding each other. Typical sibling behavior I suppose.
Plans for today anyone? Nothing here but a phone call later to my uncle.

I offered this cat his bed but he is still up under me for some reason. He wants out at night so I let him do his cat thing.

aw, jest like young'uns, so sweet when they'd be sleepin', lol. the cat here's her beds scattered all o'er, but lately's been known to cabbage'nto one 'f the pups.
so glad yer happy with those temps, hon.
finally dried 'nough here (very dewy morns) fer me to tend the back yard. such's gotta be done with the weed eater coz 't aint worth the trouble to bring the ridin' mower back here. the hubs's too many 'obstacles' layin' 'round. such's done though, raked 'n the grass divided 'mong the ponies.

@CarolDM aw, poor kitty! the resident cat 'twas 'nder the weather monday. finally coughed'p a monster hair ball. i reckon her kitty chow's not doin' the trick? anyhow, she stuck to me like glue. thankfully she 'twas better tuesday. sure hurts yer heart when yer critters aint feelin' good. hope mr. dude'll be 'lright, hon.
yes ma'am, dryin' out purty good. the boys've still quite a bit 'f water/mud. the lack 'f heat's not helped, lol. gonna get worse, we're fixin' to've an early 1st frost. dang 't.

@crazyhorseladycx Brendel has hair balls but thankfully the Dude never does.

Yes they are my babies. The Dude has been sneezing since yesterday. He is under a quilt right now. Yes, it has been so nice and cool today. The sun came out for a little while. Glad you got some things done and you are drying out.

What a sweet photo, yes they are enjoying the cooler weather:) Cats and dogs can have allergies, I've been told. Maybe Dude has an allergy.

Thanks and yes they do. I saw that from my cat I had before and my cat I have now. Circumstances are very different from my cat I have now. The one I had before got when she was 13 weeks old. My cat I have now was left to die at 2 days old so she never learned manners and my other did learn manners. That is just an example of how different how cats can be.

What a cute picture! It's going to be 70 here today. The nights are chilly enough that we turn the heat on. This is perfect fall weather. I hope we don't get an early winter. No plans for today. Hubby has a CT scan scheduled. Hope your uncle is feeling good today.

@LindaOHio I know, the retired nurse stays with him from Tues - Fri. He barely eats the other days. But he likes her and will eat whatever she fixes.

Nick has been sleeping next to me at night. With the warmer weather he was elsewhere most of the time..another perk of cooler weather is getting some kitty snuggles.

My cat (and cats when there were more) always got looooong in the summer heat and short and round in the winter when they sleep. Last night mine slept on me because it was cooler.
