I tried to log in to Textbroker the other day, and could not get in. I was baffled. Eventually I used a link for help for authors.
They responded to me with an automatic response immediately. The next day I got a solution.
It seems they had blocked my account because I have never been verified. They were very nice about it. They told me I had never verified because I joined before they required verification
So that is how old I am. Older than verification!!
Yes, I am working on that issue.

Ah, I see. They are changing the payment there, I got an email about it. It seems as if they are going to offer twice weekly payments now. I have not been on the site in ages.

Although they said they reset my account, I could not get in just now. I need to send a W-9 and some other documentation. I will do that today and see what is up.

@GardenGerty If memory serves, the process after that took atleast two weeks. I sent in a picture of my ID card and then filled out the W-9 and mailed it. I think you can also scan it and send it electronically but I believe I mailed mine.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will be more delayed than that. My driver's license is expired. I went to town to renew it and their computer system had been down all day.

I trust this site, but I thought you could only join from the US. That is why they wanted ID or green card. I think you would do well there.

@GardenGerty NO, they have sites also in other countries, in fact I was not joining textbroker.com, but textbroker.it (Italy) that is my native country.

Yeah, it always gets me when suddenly I need to verify-- especially when the site is Japanese, and I have to figure out how to do it. I'm doing a few Japanese sites where I can fill my prepaid store cards but of course they need to know it's really me and my card before they'll do it! Things are getting more complicated all the time.

i stopped going to humanatic when they started requiring proof of identity. i do understand because there are so many scammers and people selling their accounts, but i'd rather not risk it.
have you tried Writer Access? another US mylotter says that's where she writes.

My account was canceled for the same reasons.
Now they want your photo and copy of ID such as license or passport.
Someone there tried to help me with new account.
It didn't work.
Not sure I'll try it again.

They wanted a W-9 as well. I have downloaded it but not filled it out and scanned it yet. Perhaps this morning I will do that. I wanted to pick up a little work this weekend. I do not have a lot of time for it, but it pays decently. @jstory07 It is for tax purposes and to prove you are a US resident. I trust them.

Now I need to finish the process. One of the things I recently told myself was it would make more sense to put time in there where I can be in control of what I earn versus the piddly places like SB, MyPoint, Inbox Dollars (all owned by same people now) and Microsoft Rewards. I can earn more in a week at Textbroker than in a month or more of the others combined. I get stuff better than money here, so myLot is on my good side as well.

I have been working "grandfathered" for a while, as I do not know when the verification first started. It may be that I am active enough now that they noticed me.

Possibly. I think I got active enough recently they noticed me. If you earn enough to owe taxes, they need the forms on file.
