One of my all-time favorite cartoons was “The Flintstones” and occasionally I still watch on YouTube to make me feel like a kid again. There was a charming episode about a fantasy that the children of best pals Fred and Barney, Pebbles and Bamm Bamm were playing and singing a delightful song called “Let the Sunshine In”. This always made me smile and when I came across it on YouTube I thought I would share it with you and make you smile too.

I remember that, I can still sing some of it. I still like to liston to some of the songs from back then. Just the other day I was singing Sugar Sugar by the Archies to my granddaughters. They loved it.

That was written by country/gospel singer/songwriter Stuart Hamblen, who was best known for "This Ole House" and "It Is No Secret (What God Can Do)." I remember that episode of The Flintstones, and I always loved it!

My family loved that show and although it premiered September 30, 1960 it didn't air in El Paso until the mid 1960s. I was about 16 or so when it first aired here.
