Night Sky and a Falling Star

I rarely witnessed the so called falling star however I’ve seen it a few times. During younger days, I heard it often that one must make a wish if he or she sees a falling star which I think absolutely not true and just a pure superstition. It has nothing to do with our fate because one must work or act on something that we want to achieve. Photo Credit: pixabay.com

Unfortunately I have missed that experience in my life. I think it would be good to see. Tokyo is too polluted to see stars clearly, let alone falling stars.

I have seen the falling starts many times, it is common during the month of August here. Of course the wish is a superstition.

It's good to hear about that Ms. Anna. Sometimes, the weather is not that cooperative and that happens to me when there was this reported meteor shower and I was not able to witness because the weather in my place is bad.

It is a superstition, but I always make a wish when I see a shooting star. It can’t hurt.

@ZedSmart so true. Sometimes I forgot that there's a full moon unless I look at the sky why it is so bright.
