"Thing" doesn't mean what you think it does

Or, atleast in the way of seemingly all words, it once had a different meaning.
"Thing", in early Germanic Society, referred to a governing assembly made up of the citizens of the community and presided over by "lawmakers".
The pronunciation varied depending on where you were. While thing today is used more to describe an object or to make a point, it isn't very different from what it once was. In fact, the definition of thing today is all encompassing, it's meaning only slightly varying depending on it's use.

I thought so too. I'm imagining these assembly's / meetings that were held.

I wish I could have written more but the discussion would have been longer.

I like to try to learn something new everyday, but some days I don't feel like putting my thinking cap on.

@JustBhem Oh wow that's wonderful. No fever and the treatment went well? No aches or pains from it? That's great! Do you think it is because you are taking the treatment three times per week now?
