Dialogue is so important in a good book or a movie. It moves the story along in a book but, in a movie it is so important to have a quick wit and some fun with the dialogue. I am watching Hotel Transalvania for the third time. And the daughter of Dracula has gone with her hubby to check out America to see if they should move there or stay at the hotel. The daughter has seen a video of what she thinks is her son who was left in her dad's incompetent hands while they were gone. The SIL and the daughter are setting on the roof deciding. She decides to go back and he says: "Okay, I will go wake up my backpack." Now that is funny. It's like the dialogue they had in Buffy and Angel. So fun. Sarcasm and reality all in one cute package. The slanguage and word play was so great. The y-isms and suffix usage made it fun to just listen to the dialogue and to heck with the storyline. Do you enjoy good dialogue?

Dialogue in a book or movie is what make the book or movie interesting.

Dialogue is the most important part of a book other than the description. You don't need the description watching a movie, you can see it, so the dialogue must be important.
