In fact cable TV isn't expensive here at all. However, I still cancelled it. Since it is quite convenient for me to watch everything via the net from my TV. So I am not interested in having cable TV any more. A penny saved is a penny earned

@youless We have a TV box that comes with our Internet, we have plenty of free channels with our Internet subscription. We watch the channels from our TV set as usual, but it is through the Internet and not via cable.

That is true the novelty of cable TV is fast losing popularity with the advent of the internet age. They prefer to use it as it is convenient and less expensive that having a cable TV you pay regular fee and you could not even watch all the channels in it.

@youless Yeah that is true also with us. I also am contemplating on that one too in the future since we barely used other channels to watch it and just stay on a couple of channels to watch news and other favorite shows. We would stay at our cellphone to watch more interesting shows like Netflix and other videos sharing apps.

And actually today I don't often watch TV. So it is not so necessary to have cable TV for us today.

If it's not something that you use, then there's not much point in keeping it. You save a few bucks.

We don't watch much TV at all so cable TV would be wasted on us.

If you are not using the cable on your tv then might as well do without it. We also cancelled our cable subscription last year when we shifted to the digibox - the antenna that gives clear viewing of local channels.
