the little grumpy bus passenger

Once upon a time, not so long ago, there was a little green bus, and a little pink girl. Every morning, the little pink girl and the little green bus would rendezvous at the little brick cabin, the one which often smelt of wee.
The little pink girl would hop on, grunting at the bus driver as she did so. Not that she was a pig, of course. The bus driver would grunt back, even though he wasn't a pig either.
And off the little green bus would trundle.
Hip! Hip! Hooray!
The End.
And then there's mornings like this morning, with bus drivers who are ridiculously chirpy before the sun has even thought about waking up.
I'm sorry, guv'nor, but which part of this face *does circular motion hand gesture around visage area* says, Please, talk to me before the moon toddles off to bed!?
You may call me Grumpy and Unsociable. I call me Reflective and Not Yet Fully Awake.

@MALUSE The two extremes made me laugh! I enter our staff room at 8 and it's lovely and quiet. Forty-five minutes later and it's tantamount to being at a football match. Too noisy, filled with the chirpiness of Happy People.

Well, to be fair to you, you haven't met me. You might reconsider.

And yet they have a tendency to think we should all be like them!

@Poppylicious I also need a bit of time, I cannot stand that someone start to talk about serious things when I have not yet digested my breakfast.

Oh, I do like a happy driver, but just not one who expects me to have a conversation at silly o'clock in the morning!

@Poppylicious Must be a very boring job, I would hate to sit all day. But if you fancied it you could always retrain!
