I just finished the initial edit and was going to start the revision, but I'm going to let it sit for a couple of days.
When I read the last word on this book, I just wanted to savor it. It's that good. I don't remember how long ago I finished writing it, but the last 100 pages, I didn't know what was coming, and I wrote it. The suspense is powerful. I was like, oh my! It's as good as any famous author out there.
I'm going to push this for publication in 6 months. It's a romance. I can't get away from that genre for this, but it's not a formula romance. I don't write those kinds.
I took over a thousand words from the book mostly, that, had, and have. I was amazed at how peppered with those words it was.
The next thing I need to do is write up the back cover copy.
I can tell you this is a story of rejection, acceptance, being proven, and finding love, and forgiveness.
If you have read any of my personal story, you know I wrote this with a lot of personal feelings wrapped up in this story. The woman in the story holds on to her faith because it's all she has.
I'm going to let this sit for a few days while I work on finishing a novel before I return to it for the next round of revision and edit.
That has been my day since I left. How has yours been? Thanks for reading. Image is the book cover.

@DianneN I've moved. I made breakfast, that I ate here, then I took a muffin to the gal in the office, she loved it. When I finished Legacy, I took my camera and showed her the cover for the book that I took a pic of from the computer. She loves it.
I'll be getting off here soon and watch a movie.

@crazyhorseladycx It was very chilly when I walked out the door this morning. I'm glad I wore my winter jacket.
I've posted the back cover copy.

I think that sounds like a great plan....I've never done publishing besides my poetry book, so not sure how it all works....but I think it sounds good. Best of luck for getting it done in the time frame you want!

It's interesting for it has a personal implication of "rejection, acceptance, being proven, and finding love, and forgiveness."

I recall you being an author from Bubblews days and always told myself that I would buy at least one of your books. I have followed you at Amazon. One of these days I will order one, or more. Currently we are getting organized to move back to California from Hawaii (for the third and hopefully final time).
