Update on the Monster in the Family

I have had a couple of questions asking about the update on the situation with my brother/mother/family. So here it is. Are you ready? Are you sitting down? It seems like the girlfriend has moved out. She has not been seen hanging around and her vehicle is rarely there anymore. I guess she sees that he is not getting any more money from my mother one way or another. (YAY!) As far as I know he is still in the house. I have been informed that he leaves on the weekends. I do not know where he is going nor do I really care. The other new development is that he has the truck back that his friend gave him. The girlfriend had taken it and registered it in her name. She has been driving it since it was given to my brother. This situation tell me that they have possibly split up. We can only hope! That's about it for now. Photo: Pixabay, public domain

I am glad he is not getting more money from your mom. I have not followed this in a while.

I haven't said too much about it. It upsets me to even think about it.

Thank you for the update of what is happening in your home. Hopefully the dark clouds will go away soon for some well deserved sunshine.

I hope so. I would like to get my mom back in her home as the original plan was laid out. One of my daughters will be moving in and I'll stay until they get adjusted.

@Deepizzaguy I have been but it is sad that it takes these state agencies months to even start investigating elderly abuse reports.

I hope she leaves, since she cannot abuse your mothers bank account or take her house.

I wish I had the freedom to do a little spying. I'd love to know if her kids are still going to the schools there in my mom's district. They don't live anywhere near there and should not be going to those schools.

It will be interesting to see what happens. The evil one has broken the law in so many different ways. His luck has to run out soon.

I hope he finally moves out on his own without getting any more money from your mom. It's a shame when these kinds of folks leach off our parents.

Yes, very sad. Problem is he doesn't have any place to go. He lost everything due to this girlfriend. Lost city parish job, lost his truck, lost his townhouse, lost his business, started another and lost it too.

Good grief @kareng he must be either really in love with this witch or just plain stupid. Is there any way he can charge her with fraud?

He doesn't even work easy. Hasn't worked since 2010. His gf showed him how to play the system. She is also the one who cost him his job by signing him up for FMLA and then trying to renew it in the same year. He got caught and fired.

It's good that they may have split up; but your brother is still in the house! What is being done about that?
