Who will be the next US President ?

I responded to a discussion asking who will run for President, now let me tell you who will be the President.
Friday November 14th 2020. A big surprise happened today when the two candidates, Donald J. Trump, 74, and Elisabeth A. Warren, 71, obtained 269 votes from the electoral college. It is now at the House of Representatives to decide who will be the next President of the United States. Trump declared : « I am victim of a coup from the deep state », and Warren said : « I am ready to be the 46th ! » At the end of the day Wall Street was losing 3.5%.
Monday November 17th. There was a terrible hurly-burly today at the House. After several suspensions the majority and minority leaders made a common declaration telling that they wanted the best President for the country and to reach this goal in an unquestionable way, the two candidates would have to respond to a 10 questions test, 5 chosen by the Republicans, and 5 by the Democrats. The candidate having the largest number of right answers will be the next President. Trump said that « Pocahontas » had not a chance against him. The test will be broadcasted live tomorrow.
Tuesday November 18th. 68 millions tv viewers were present today to see the test exam between Donald J. Trump and Elisabeth A. Warren. The two candidates were sat close together to be in the camera field of view. The regularity of the exam was under the control of the dean of the House. Many democrats twitted that Trump was looking on the paper of his opponent and that the dean, who is a Republican, was ignoring that, but it is well known that the dean has a bad eyesight. On the other side, on Breitbart News many people were convinced that Warren had received the questions before the exam and prepared her responses. The two papers were checked by a bi-partisan committee, and the results are now announced by the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi :
« The two candidates had 9 correct answers and 1 wrong, it is at the view of the wrong answer that the Committee has decided that the next President will be Ms Warren ».
Trump screamed : « I knew that this was biased ! How can you choose the winner on a wrong answer ! »
- Well, at question 7 Ms Warren responded « I don’t know » and you responded « Me too ».
« You’re fired » concluded Ms Warren.
Indeed, this is political fiction.
I had fun writing it, but it is a bit long, sorry.

delightful take'n the nightmare that 'tis loomin'. personally, i'd rather 've better choices than those 'vailable. i still shake my head he 'twas elected the 1st go round.... shows how easily folks're duped i reckon.

@topffer i dunno how he made the cut to e'en be considered fer the presidency. folks wishin' fer change i reckon? fuelin' hatred 'n lack 'f empathy 'd not be presidential qualities i'm thinkin'. then 'gain, mrs. clinton 'twas a poor choice, too. we need not more welfare 'n handouts - we need to work'n our infrastructure, teach those with no skills how's to be self-sufficient.
i'm jest waitin' fer someone to flush...

She was just waiting in the wings to come out and be known.
What a change that would be for her to become President.
I was thinking right now of Soraya Santamaria who turned down the idea of being Presidenta of Spain I think her far too modest.
Love the story and you should do more of them you really should thank you.

Thank you too Soraya is a very feisty lady a wise courageous lady about the only woman I listen to and a few times I listen Ines Arrimadas she is also a fighter.
Machistas there are many here I suppose they cannot help it really.
Yesterday when I was out I was in the subway and on the walls of the entrance and exits they had painted with I don´t know what yellow ribbons you know what I mean that are forbidden.
I had to laugh because on the way back they had all vanished they had all been washed off by I don´t know who.
Even in Pamplona you have your Catalans wanting us to be brainwashed not on your nelly mate I think to myself.
What is happening there now happened here just after Franco made his exit.
All the rest of the women are too beholding to the men for me at least too much praise for the men too meek and mild or maybe its a put on job I don´t really know.
This is all a bit of course just thought I would let you know about the yellow ribbons here before it was the Euskalerria flag all over the darned place.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Lol, I have seen a few Catalan flags on balconies in Barcelona, but not a lot. It is a bit like Corsicans, but Corsica will never leave France except if a referendum is organized in Continental France, they cost us a lot and many people would be pleased to get rid of them. They bomb a tax office or a house owned by a Continental times to times, but it is folklore today. In Catalonia it is more serious.

. She is very smart, she would do a good president, but many Americans do not like smart people.
I remember Mrs Santamaria, Spanish are still a bit machos, it is a handicap for a woman. In a decade or two, maybe.

Oh my gosh, this is GREAT! I am usually not one to read fiction here, but each sentence here had me wanting to read what happens next 
- the length was perfect. The sad thing is what's happening in real life plays like a joke but is no laughing matter - very scary in fact. He is a disaster who has created disasters and I can only hope there is no part 2 for him!1 person likes this

- I hope you can get back into writing what your heart tells you .
Yes, that guy is beyond dangerous. I shake my head that there are still hardcore supporters - I really don't understand - but it seems they like his tactics - they don't see it as childish, but that this forwardness is what a leader needs to do in order to get the job done at this point. Shameless - it's horrible. And sadly there are people who follow this example of forwardness in our everyday lives . . . I have never seen people be so divided like this - even amongst friends. He has messed with many of our ties around the world and it will backfire if it has not already. I encourage all to do their part in the voting and not allow a second half to his term - get his butt outta here!

@much2say I will retire in two years and I have already accepted to do a conference about Balzac in April next year that will be printed. Literature is another hobby that I had to hide, but I do not care now.
I do not understand how he can have supporters after what he did in Ukraine. I could not believe what I read about that. Disgusted.

I highly doubt DT will be around for election day. His days are numbered in my opinion. Now, the next election may well come down to Pence and Warren.
