Car Accident?

Not today, praise God.
You never know how busy a street will be until both the high school and Lambeau Field are active at the same time. There were cars parked everywhere so that when I thought it was safe to turn onto the street with cars lining both sides and making it hard to see, I came face to face with a car. I was able to hit my brakes and he swerved. Accident avoided. 
I don't know what was going on at the high school, but there was a band out in front of Lambeau Field, so there were a lot of pedestrians at that end of the street. Then a car decided to just cross in front of me as it pulled out from a side street. Nothing blocked his/her view. I'm sure the driver saw me coming.
I'm very happy to get home on this crazy driver day.
I wonder if the band was practicing for tomorrow's game against the Raiders.
Anyway, the laundry is done. I spent a good couple of hours with my son and his girlfriend I painted the rock for. She loved her Pikachu. I also saw my grandson for a little bit. So, it was a good morning. The laundry is put away, and I'm finished with this round of notifications.
Time to eat lunch, and work on a book or watch TV. I might even go out to the park. I'm sure it's pretty out there with fall colors. Anyway. I'll do something. What are your plans for Saturday? Thanks for reading.

@Fleura I've done it. It wasn't entirely my fault. My husband was teaching me to drive and I was backing out of a driveway that has a chainlink fence on one side. He told me to slow down, yelling at me with his hands crossed over his face. I panicked and hit the gas and took out three feet of chain link fence.

Wow. Saturday wasn't that eventful for me. I did the Christmas cards. Last year I started getting Christmas Cards at Walmart around my doctor's appointment. But this year I decided to get blank cards from Hobby Lobby and put the sentiments in them. I also dyed my hair a rose gold color.

Well I have done laundry..did some landscaping and went to the trash dump and convenience store. That's about it so far.

Today wa rather quiet as it was a very overcast day with drizzle and cloud cover left over from Nescor and so I stay indoors except for a few minutes of being out for some fresh air. tomorrow is suppose to be better so I am hoping to spend time sitting on a swing spending time with God. I call it my prayer or devotiona swing as I love to spend time with God there.

So glad that the accident was avoided! That can be so scary!
I dealt with lots of traffic today too....went to the bigger town to take my husband to the restaurant he chose for his birthday lunch......the traffic wouldn't have been too bad but it started storming with extremely high winds, pouring rain....and sometimes mixed with snow!
Anyways....glad you made it home safely!
