One of my favorite songs of the 70s is Smoke on the Water ..... did I mention I have a lot of favorite songs? So as usual I was goofing around in YouTube and found a video of Deep Purple performing live after their album Machine Head had been released. This song really is kool. Oh, and the hair, oh that hair

I miss it but then I don't have long hair anymore either. Some older guys look ok with longer hair but not all of them.

I remember all those afros @BelleStarr so many guys in the late 70s were getting perms just so they could have a fro.

@rebelann Al's hair is very curly so it more went out than down and he had a big afro like hairdo at one point.

It was and I loved it back then, I don't care for beards anymore though nor do I care that much for mustaches .... now long hair, well, that's ok if it's kept clean.

@rebelann I think I'll always like beards and mustaches. I'm not fond of a man with long hair unless it looks good on him. I haven't seen too many it looks good on.
