I keep this growing in the screen room since the cats do not get outside. They can enjoy the outside, but inside safely.
Good to see as I enjoy the mint in my hot tea during the winter. And the cats obviously enjoy eating it every now and then as well.
In the post below you can see the Dude laying in the container. Funny cat that Dude! Cats can be so entertaining.
One of my cats, the Dude, loves the mint I have growing in the screen room. Brendel likes it as well, but apparently not as much as the Dude. I was sitting at...

mint 'tis mighty diff'cult to kill fortunately. so glad yers'd be returnin'. if'n mine 'twas not'n such a huge pot, i'd bring such 'ndoors. i fear i can't budge 't. will need to wait 'til next spring to 'njoy. the feral cats seem fond 'f the lemon grass, don't reckon i've seen 'em partake'n the mint. perhaps i need to root some 'f the latter 'n see if'n indoor kitty'd get some joy from such. she does love perchin' herself 'mong the various plants, hidin' like a tigress, lol.

@CarolDM most definitely can be, sadly many folks plant such directly'n the ground 'n then poison 't to get rid 'f 't later. lemon grass 'tis 'pposed to be a natural skeeter repellent. i've that'n other herbs they aint 'pposed to be fond 'f growin' all 'long my back porch durin' the late spring through early autumn.
yes ma'am, they can be most hilarious. i get a kick out'ta the feral kittens when they're learnin' to climb trees'n hunt :)

@crazyhorseladycx I knew that and is the reason I contained it. The cats thanked me!

Mint is very hard to kill. It is a good potted plant around cats.

I'm glad your mint is growing back. I got myself wrangled into growing lavender for my best friend's wedding next year.

That's good that the mint is recovering. I would think it would be a very hardy plant.
