Tests Came Back Negative...

Test results came back today. It came back negative for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Which is a good thing.
They saw a little speck of something, but determined it was not anything, as of yet. They asked me if I would be willing to do another breathing test in two months, just to make sure nothing was developing. I told them I would have to think about it.
In some ways I wish I had something. Because I would have had to do two weeks of strong antibiotics, and I would have fixed everything.
Downside... If you have it once, there is a change you will have to deal with it again. So I guess I should be happy the test came back negative.
I just wish they could figure out why a lot of food goes straight through me. I was also told that there could be a slight chance that I am one of those rare individuals that will have side effects of a gallbladder removal lasting a year, or longer.
However... Though I am truly grateful that pretty much every test I take has come back negative (other than my gallbladder, which was removed last December)...when it comes to my organs; they have yet to locate the problem.
My liver is good. Pancreas is good. Lungs are good. Arteries are clear. Colon is now good. There is no cancer anywhere. Everytime I get tested, I come up in good shape.
They are doing a process of elimination on me. Next up... I have to have a colonoscopy next month. Not looking forward to this thing. I know I will be knocked out. But they say the prep is the hardest. Ugh...

It's good to hear that but you will have to go for check up at least to make sure you don't any infections.

You can be glad that the test result is negative although I know that it is not over yet.
