discrimination

A few days ago I saw a post via the net. Recently there was a stupid car accident caused by a woman and this man said women were poor at driving. He has one point to support his view, that is men can drive 8-9 hours but women can't do the same. Of course he received many disagreements, especially from women and he said those are Feminists. I hate today when there is a car accident occur, the reporter will emphasize it is caused by a FEMALE driver. If it is caused by men, then the reporter won't mention it at all. It is stupid to judge a driver good or bad by how long they can drive. They should consider that driving for such a long time is not safe for both men and women.

It makes me angry when I notice that there is still discrimination against women who drive. Statistics show that most accidents are caused by men, not women.

I think there are more drunk men than women. And usually big car accidents caused by men. But when there is a female driver caused a car accident, it became to be a "news".

@youless It is the same in every country, when it's a woman who causes the accidents, the media always point their finger.

Why not uplift each other instead of putting other down when it comes to driving.

I think people should pay attention to the safety of driving rather than whether the driver is a female or not.

Yes that is not true of course we know the truth. One person driving is all there is to it neither gender should apply.

That's just a very silly stereotype that has been around forever, unfortunately.

true. I already found it. Some public TV channels will never mention that a MALE driver cause a car accident due to pushing the throttle when should be on the brake. It's disgusting.

You are quite right. This is why make female drivers as "poor drivers".

It seems that the reporters are quite excited to find that the car accident caused by a female driver. And it seems it can catch more people's eyes.

I think newspapers do a lot to keep the gender bias alive.
