I knew I was tired when I left here at 8:30 this morning, but to wake at 11:30, well, it shows I was more than tired. I just finished lunch, and am ready to see what all you have been up to in my absence.
It looks like the sun might shine today. Patches of blue and sunshine amid gray nimbostratus clouds. It's not supposed to rain again for a few days, and temps are going down into the 40s today. It's a nice day out there. Even the winds have died down. They were at 38 mph yesterday.
If you want to know what my lunch was, it was chocolate pancakes. They were delicious!

@kobesbuddy I was in the hospital for a week, and then six weeks on crutches.

@just4him I was awaken because of my leg again last night. I called and she's gonna give me another round of Prednisone. It's not terrible like before, but enough soreness to wake me up. How long did your bursitis last?

I was really tired too. I only slept a couple of hours Tuesday night as I awoke early with severe pelvic pain. Spent the day in the ER. Pain subsided on its own and all tests came up negative. Had a good night's sleep last night but have had a headache since I woke up. That always seems to be the case when I sleep too long.... except 4 nights in a row I have moved to the couch in the middle of the night. Obviously not sleeping well at all. Just trying to recover today.

You must have been tired I am tired myself and ready to take a bit of rest. I have been busily working on a section of a book that has been sounding a little off to me. I think I have solved the problem as to why. Chocolate pancake, a little slice of heaven. I bet they were delicious.

They turned out better than I've ever made them, thin like crepes. Yes, absolutely delicious. I use the cacao chocolate baking powder and almond flour. The recipe calls for coconut flour but they are always way too thick.
I'm glad you're working out the problem in your book. That's always a challenge, but a good one.

You really needed that nap it looks like. We had a weird day today. Part of the sky was blue and the other looked like rain. Chocolate pancakes sound good. When I used to eat pancakes I would but chocolate chips in them. I feel the picture has a very calmy effect.

bless yer heart, i've found i've been sleepin' more'n my norm, too. perhaps we've a bug 'f sorts??
thankfully the winds here've calmed 'n the sun'd be shinin'. 'twas very busy here wednesday's much needed tendin' 'fore out 'wholy flyin' cowpatties - snow!' came.

I love pancakes. When I was a kid my mother used to buy it for me. Now pancakes are rarely sold here.

Yes, almond flour and cacao chocolate baking powder. The recipe calls for coconut flour but I don't like the results.
