Halloween and Decorating

Halloween is just a few days away and I was wondering who here decorates their home for this event.
I know many of you have children and you will definitely have a skeleton or two, some spider webs, and/or a friendly ghost put up. Or you may go the fall theme and just put out some pumpkins (carved or not) and a couple of hay bales.
I don't decorate anymore since we are in the country. I do however, have the decorations to do so, if we every set our mind to doing it. We don't have trick or treaters out here so it would more or less be doing it just to be doing it. Our grandchildren are all in different cities and go trick or treating in their own neighborhoods.
I have a graveyard set up that would be perfect under the 100+ year old oak tree. This includes various gravestones. My husband and I both liked the idea but have not put up the decorations yet. I'm hoping once we are both retired, we do this at least one year. Also, would be fun for the family to come up for a bonfire on a Saturday night near Halloween. This wouldn't interfere with trick or treating!
Do you decorate for Halloween? And if so, what do you do?

I used to turn my entire house into a haunted house. A very scary haunted house! But that was years ago. These days, I don't have the time or the engird to put into all that decorating, so I just set up a few yard decorations. There's not many kids in the neighborhood I live in, so we don't get many trick-or-treaters. So no sense going all out for Halloween. But it's still fun to put up a few things just to get into the spirit!

@moffittjc I hear ya! I'm being good this year and not alienating the man too much. I haven't glued myself to the television set watching football all day on a Saturday.....Yet! Haha.

@kareng Usually this time of year all my fun is centered around college football! So Halloween is a nice little distraction from that!

That is about what I'd be doing it for. I just thought it would be cool. This house was empty for over a year and the front would be kinda cool with the hanging limbs from the old oak tree and tombstones below. I'd have to put out some solar lights to hit them to be seen and of course put the motion screamer out for any nuts that get out of their car to come and look.

@kareng Yes you need the screamer if you have one
I tried one of those but the car lights kept setting it off.

@wolfgirl569 My hubby loves playing with the full size creepers at the stores. LOL. I'm sure one day he will break down and buy one!

@crazyhorseladycx I'm sorry your daughter and grandkids may not make it for Thanksgiving. I hope that decision is changed by her company. Hugs!

I decorated when the kids lived home but not anymore. I don't like Halloween, never did. I have only had four kids come to the door in all the years I lived here. They were someone's grandchildren and I managed to find something for them. Now, I usually turn off all the lights after I lock everything up and go upstairs.

I don't put anything outside except for a nice Fall wreath on my front door. Inside I have pumpkins and other Halloween decorations around but nothing scary.
My neighbors all decorate with the outside scary stuff since they all have kids that are trick or treat age. We get quite a lot of trick or treaters here

I used to set up a witch on my porch. But I'm afraid that Lily (my black cat) will attack the witch. I don't do much for Halloween. I have a pumpkin candle, a Halloween hand towel, and pumpkin little basket.

@JohnRoberts I used to but quit. I get enough scary stories in real life with hubby in law enforcement.

No, we don't get any trick-or-treaters out where we are; so we don't decorate.

I had fun when we spent the Halloween day in the United States one year.
