Getting My Car Back Today!

Well, hubby got the call yesterday to let him know his truck is ready. He is picking it up today. Thankful he didn't want to pick it up yesterday! Friday traffic in the city is just crazy!
On a good note, I don't have to drive him to pick the truck up! A friend offered to drive him there! So thankful to have people that are willing to help in a pinch.
The friend who is driving him to get the truck is someone new in our circle of friends. She is a Facebook friend and also a former classmate of my husband. She commented on a post that she loved venison stew and hadn't had it in a long time. I offered her a bowl of the batch I had in the fridge. She was delighted.
Since then, she has been there to lend a hand for us. Was going to drive Little Miss to and from school for me. And now, driving my husband to the city. There are good people out there. They appear when you least expect it.
So, remember that when you do good for someone, it can come back to you. Pay it forward when you can.

Paying it forward is always good. I'm glad he got a ride to pick up the truck.
Deer hunting season is coming soon here and someone will give me a package of venison. I can't wait. My mouth is already salivating as I think about it.

We did get some fresh venison. It was a small deer that was hit by a car. The warden gave it to my husband. Love venison. Hubby still hasn't managed to get one this season.
It is raining today, and he is miserable in the rain. I expect to see him soon, soaked to the bone, and crabby.

@just4him when it began to downpour he headed back to the truck. Once he got there the rain suddenly stopped. Wasn't a good day for him.

@amadeo with the warmer weather we try to get out a few times a day. The rain is coming down heavy right now. Doubt we will get outside today.

It was nice to go visit my sister today. Parked the car at her house and we all walked downtown.

wonderful she 'twas willin' 'n able to help get'cher hubs truck, hon. i know ya weren't lookin' ferward to such. yepperz, 'tis good to be nice to folks. e'en if'n such's not reciprocated. there's 'lways hopes they'll pass 't ferward.

That is so true that good people appear when you least expect it. I know you'll be thrilled to get your back. Little Miss will be too. haha Now she can go to school again.
