Dumbfounded by the image in my mind.

Friends, are you ready for this? I was at a burger fastffood waiting for my daughter, the conference did not finish on the allotted time. I actually dozed off to sleep while playing candy crash. My daughter jolted me from slumber before sitting beside me. I did notice a lanky guy searching for a vacant seat. He looked me in the eye, gauging if we were about to leave. But I was talking with my daughter, deciding if we would partake of a quick burger lunch or dash somewhere for a proper meal. I opted for the second one. As we stood up, i saw the guy still looking at me, and gosh, that face, the features, the stance, the demeanor, are all the ideal I have pictured of a MAN from the pages of literary books I have read. Astonished, I stared back, wanting to know if I was dreaming. Then he spoke. He asked a question. "Are you done?" Damn. My lips were zipped I couldn't utter a word. I turned sideways nodding my head. And followed my daughter. I was glad my knees didn't wobble. Would have been embarrassing. really. Cursed my self later for missing the opportunity to acquaint my self. Shucks. Chicken. Pinch me, please, and tell me the dashing hero in my literary books is not real.

If he is real for you then that is fine. Hope you had a good meal too.

Thanks for telling that. I was starting to think I might be bordering into some kind of empty nest syndrome effects. Sigh. I was just glad to realize that no matter the repression I have created in my being, that is - not to venture in such shenanigan, I could still be disconcerted when I am caught unguarded. Ha ha

@eileenleyva No matter what age your kids are you will always miss them so everyone gets that. He must have been one handsome man for you to dream about him. Something like James Bond.

@eileenleyva Oh now I know who you mean.I would prefer Aidan Turner Mr. Poldark himself what a guy.
Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson look back on Season 1's iconic blue dress scene and their first kiss.

Hehe this is another side of eileen I saw in your post. It is like you were a teeny girl seeing her prince charming and blushing away from his crush.

I was awestruck. I did not expect such a situation to happen. I have no script to follow. Realized one thing - that even in old age therein lies still the little girl we once had been.

@rsa101 Hmmmm. Nothing like the carefree juvenile days when dreams were real, huh. 'twas the age when we believed we were the girls in the song the disc jockeys played in the radio.

Yeah, probably. it is indeed strange that life begins imitating fiction when art is the imitation of life. Yet look reality check, what used to be just an idea has become our life now. Here's a concrete example: The word robot was coined after RUR, A Czech play penned by Karel Capek in 1921. Todate, we have AI for real, and its even a legitimate citizen in Saudi Arabia. Ain't that odd?
Come and join us at Rossum's Universal Robots -- where everyone is polite and smart and perfect in every way -- not to mention the product of bioengineering....

I should have written a script in my mind in case that situation arises. I never expected that there is such a man. The image was fiction to me. Ha ha Thank you very much for that hope. I do wish that happens again and I'd be ready. Ha ha. (Concocting possible conversations right now.Whoaaa. I am hopeless really.)
