Time to Donate Some Clothes

Have been working on filling up donation boxes for Goodwill. My closet is the main room to make this happen.
There are so many clothes and outfits I have not worn in years. Even shoes to go with many. But it looks like if I have to clean the dust off, then it is time to pass it along for someone else to enjoy.
It was hard folding some of my favorite outfits and placing them in the boxes. But I know there are many out there that need clothes. I don't, so it was time for letting go.
I feel much better. The boxes are in the garage. Ready to go tomorrow to Goodwill. I had to move them out so I wouldn't change my mind.
Helping others is a good feeling.

congrats'n tacklin' such a task! i reckon since most 'f my clothin' 'tis threadbare 'n holey, i prolly ought'a keep 'em fer a bit longer, lol. i do get folks though who donate their used jeans - my request bein' they've holes, stains, etc. fer makin' denim rag quilts. nope, most oft the schtuff they drop off looks purty new! that all gets washed'n taken to the women's shelter. they're 'lways most 'ppreciative 'n they don't charge those'n need.
yes ma'am, 'tis a great feelin' fer certain.

We have lots of old clothes that I think should be donated to charity.

I've been downsizing and decluttering but haven't gotten to my closet yet. There are dozens of pieces in there that I haven't worn since I retired 9 years ago. Time to donate and let someone else use them. They are in excellent shape. Yes, it makes you feel good to help someone AND downsize at the same time.

I do that every 2 years--if I haven't worn it, looked at it and/or used it out it goes!

Glad you got that done. You are right. If they need cleaned from hanging it is time to let someone else enjoy them.
