Double Dipping (Part 2)

Speaking of double dipping, the second half of this was purely my fault. I get my VA check once a month, therefore, I tend to schedule the payment of my bills once a month. Now, I’m a stickler for paying the bills on time. The only time I’ve ever had a late payment was when the aforementioned post office lost my light bill in the mail. So I was going to websites and scheduling the payments, then putting the amount paid in my checking account spreadsheet. (Yes, I use a spreadsheet...keeps me from being responsible for not carrying the one...all I have to worry about are the typos. ) Then I checked off the payment (I have a “bills paid” tab on my spreadsheet so I don’t accidentally forget to schedule a payment [did that once...fortunately, they sent me a “payment due reminder” e-mail and everything was fine]) and moved on. When it came to paying for those new tires that now have nearly 10,000 miles on them.... I deducted the payment twice. So I could be like The Horse and say that myLot helped me make $162.25 today. Still at Chuy’s, and Talking Heads just finished playing (good music and good food!):
Talking Heads' "Wild Wild Life," from the 1986 album True Stories.
