First, and foremost, my stomach has decided that No, it's not done hurting yet. Secondly, I've subscribed to three new podcasts that I hope I will like. Some I think will be easy discussion fodder for the future. Third.. I will be sitting on the fur-babies this weekend. I will have access to netflix again (as they have an account and I have a profile at their house) and Dish Network television. Anything you'd suggest me to watch? Books though, reading... Any fictional books you've read lately and liked. I'm going to bring a few books of my own, but suggestions are always welcome. I won't be bringing any kind of technology except for my phone. It's going to be a mostly relaxing weekend for me.

With your stomach deciding that it isn't done hurting yet it sounds like you're smart in not taking a lot of technology with you. I went through a four month period of having my stomach hurt like crazy and the doctors ignored my complaints about it so I lived on tums and more tums. It sounds like you need a laid back relaxing weekend for yourself. What kind of fur babies will you be sitting on? (Or will they be sitting on you? ) I'm looking for my DVD of Alice in Wonderland with Sammy Davis Jr and a few other well know actors. It's a hysterical take on the classic tale that has some wonderful songs. One of them I remember is "What's a Nice Kid Like You Doing in a Place Like This?" It's in my room somewhere, and when I find it I'm going to make Bill watch it. It dates back to the 60's or 70's. I laughed my way through it and I'm sure Bill will too. I'm not too sure about the fiction books. Right now I'm busily replacing my reference books from my business. Part of them were bear making books and the others were value books for bears and other antiques. I am so lucky to have found 99% of the books that I lost in the fire. I also found some really great newer versions that will be really handy too. Have a wonderful weekend and take care. Please be careful of your stomach...if you don't have any now make sure that you get some tums or the equivalent.

I think I may have heard of that Alice in Wonderland with Sammy Davis Jr. Not sure that I have ever watched it. I am hoping my stomach will be better by Thursday, which is when I am going. Two cats and three dogs. The cats will be sitting on me, for sure. One of the dogs likes to put his head on my foot. I have tums and pepto bismal. It's that I am running to the toilet too much. I'm also drinking peppermint tea and trying to stay hydrated, though I don't really feel like drinking anything. I'm glad you were able to find the majority of your reference books. Sometimes craft books like that fall out of print and aren't easily replaced.

@ScribbledAdNauseum The tough ones to replace are the teddy bear making books. I've been really lucky between Amazon and Ebay. I even lucked out and found a couple of them I had heard of but never saw, and managed to find them at a wonderful price and buy them. The pricing books are the really tough ones to find. Especially for special items like Disneyana and certain specialized items. Again I've been very lucky. What has tickled my funny bone is people will have the specialized books, say one on values of teddy bears and have a fantastic price on it like 11 cents. Then you look at shipping on it and the shipping is $27.95 while other book sellers will have the same book for $7.95 and shipping on it will be $3.95. I can't help but to sit and laugh at the difference in pricing especially when the books both come from the United States. And usually they are from the same state or neighboring states which won't make that big a difference in shipping. I'll see if I can find the Alice in Wonderland DVD. It is a total riot!!! I didn't pay that much for it and it was so much fun to watch.

@BearArtistLady The massive difference in prices, yes I've seen that on things on ebay before. You have to be careful when looking because I'm pretty sure they do that type of stuff on purpose. Are there craft fairs and flea markets around you? Even antique stores might have some books for things like that. I've not seen one for teddy bears in an antique store but I have seen old sewing magazines, and other needlecraft pamphlets. My ex's great grandmother had a plethora of crochet pamphlets. I do not think we kept many, if any. I kind of feel sad about that becuse while I couldn't use it, I feel like I could have found people that could have. My mom had some as well I think, but if she did I didn't see them when we were cleaning her home out.

Is it Acid Reflux or something similar @ScribbledAdNauseum ? A cup of water with a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and a few drops of Honey. Sip. Can be done before a meal, during a meal, after a meal and at bedtime.

Nope, it's not acid reflux this time. I've been having to visit the bathroom a lot. Just keeping hydrated and trying to eat B.R.A.T. food.

@JustBhem I will look when I get to her house. I won't get there until tomorrow evening, so it won't be until Friday mid-day that I will probably watch anything.

@dya80dya Oh I see. Well you know, I work online and sometimes play games as well. Of course chores are an annoying and necessary constant.

I've seen Haunted recommended somewhere else recently. I'll have to look it up. It sounds like a good book for this time of year.

I suggest any of Steve Berry's books. Right now I'm listening to the fifth book of the Harry Potter series. I have been watching The Good Place on Netflix. It's funny.

I am home now, but I will keep those in mind. I'll be going back next week but will be far too busy to be reading or watching their netflix. I ended up watching Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. and I loved it. I read a book that I wrote a review about a few minutes ago. The book is called The Lace Reader

@JESSY3236 I'm sorry you are having pains. I got over that, except for yesterday when I had a sour stomach after eating. Friend's dad (we all ate together) was having issue with his stomach today. I'm hoping it's not something going around.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have seen that movie and I liked it too. By the way, I have stomach pains too today. I'm hoping that I won't have stomach pains next week because I have to go to the doctor.
