A spider in my shower

It was a while ago... I was taking a shower. I was lathering myself with a sponge and turned around to face the wall... And what did I see? A spider with thin long legs creeping up towards me... What did I do? I screamed of course. It wouldn't have been me if I wouldn't have screamed. I threw the sponge on the bathtub floor and tried to find something in the shower to smash the spider with. Not being able to find anything, I opened the shower door, reached for the slipper, and squished that spider. Then I poured water on it from the shower head to flush it down the drain. After that, for a little while, whenever I went into the shower I was always on the lookout for a spider or some other creepy crawly. Thankfully, none came. Yet, I still kept a lookout, just in case...

LOL! I am more scared of cockroaches. I am on the lookout of cockroaches in my shower when I am in my Philippines home.

@thelme55 Eww. I've seen a huge one with wings and I was told it's not really a cockroach. I was at my grandpa's house eating when something touched my ankle. I looked down and it was that thing. I ran away from it into the living room but it went after me. I ran to the apartment door and opened it, hoping it would go into the hall. There were these Mexican guys doing renovations in an apartment across the hall. They asked me what was wrong and when I told them, one of the guys took a piece of newspaper, went into grandpa's apartment and picked that thing up like it was nothing and squished it.

There was a spider that lived in the shower at the house. I always left it alone.

@lovebuglena Nope. Live and let live is my motto. The only things I kill are mosquitos and fleas on my cat.

Thankfully, for me it is a rare find. And I'd like to keep it that way.

Spiders like the shower because it's a water source. We get them all the time... Yikes!

I don't want those things anywhere near me, let alone a shower.

Spiders are useful. I don't like to kill them.

I don't want to kill any spider or insect... unless they are in my house. Then they gotta go!
