My husband was talking to me about a new places he found for online schooling. Which is hard for him because he wants to be a nurse and he works night shifts which means night classes are out. The times they have them in the day time just doesn’t work for a person that works 12 hours shifts 3 days a week at night time. He tried before his current promotion and move to the location he is at now to get into another places that offered schooling during his shift which would train him on being a nurse. He didn’t get it because they choice another guy. It was done to him and this other guy he had more experience then my husband. He was searching online for some thigh that would work. This places out in Colorado does online classes and he would be done in 4 months. It’s go at your own speed so it could take longer then 4 months. Form what he told me it sounds like a good fit. He is going to do more digging first but taking classes from this places would let him get his LPN which means he would work any where pretty much and it also gives him a 10K jump. He would be making $37K a year if not more.

That can very convenient to go at your own speed. Hopefully it works out. It is always a good idea to get more education.

Good luck to the studies but I think online schooling is not that stable yet. Just be sure that the online school is legit and certified.

Lots of schools do online classes because many of the students like my husband have work and then families so they don’t always get time to go to a physical class. He has done most of his schooling online. Their are many that are legit. His current degree he received for online classes before he started working as a med tech.

Hopefully he'll find the right online school to help him get his LPN. Thankfully, there are many education options these days, thanks to technology and the internet.

@moffittjc he had an AS but that’s in general studies he wants something medical since that will give him better pay and allow him to move up. He has been looking for a while and it’s not something new.

@ShyBear88 That's awesome! The hardest part of pursuing an education as an adult is just getting started. And it looks like he's definitely getting started!
